Fimaks disc mowers clover, vetch and so on. It is used to mow the crops and leave them in the field. Models with 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 discs are available. While 4, 5 and 6 disc models are hanging models, 7 and 8 disc models are towed type models. While squeezing is optionally available in disc mowers with 4, 5 and 6 disc models, squeezing is standard on 7 and 8 disc machines.

Damage to the root of the plant due to the rotational movement of drum mowers does not occur in disc mowers. There are oval discs on the machine cutting panel (cutter-bar). The air flow created by these discs also helps to lift the slanted plants. Thus, high efficiency can be achieved during shaping.

The hanging type mower can be lifted up hydraulically. Thus, the machine stays behind the tractor in road position.

In disc mowers, thanks to the rubber squeezing rollers, the cut grass is notched by crushing (without cutting). Thanks to these notches, the herb dries faster without losing its nutritional values. The time for the farmer to go to the next process is reduced in this way. Plants that yield more than one crop per season, such as alfalfa, can be moved to the next irrigation earlier, as the time to remove them from the ground is shortened.
